Migrating from OnSite to Retail gives you the opportunity to start fresh and update your eCom store. OnSite Support can export your Product images which you can then import using Lightspeed Retail’s Item Import tool.Ĭontact our support team for details about migrating data from Lightspeed eCom. We strongly urge all merchants migrating from OnSite to Retail to archive their out-dated products by making them non-current.

This will keep them from appearing in your active inventory, but you will still be able to recover them if need be.įor a quick overview of what can and cannot be migrated, please refer to the following table: Products in OnSite that are marked asNon-Current will still be migrated to Lightspeed Retail, but they will appear in your Retail account asArchived.

In this case, mark any products that you are no longer carrying asNon-Current. Using the Set Product Info tool,you can make batch changes to your products. Doing so will streamline the migration process and result in a cleaner environment in Lightspeed Retail. If you plan to migrate your Products, Customers, and Suppliers, Lightspeed’s Customer Success and Support teams will coordinate with you to move this data from Lightspeed OnSite to your Lightspeed Retail account. Much of your data can be carried over from OnSite to Retail, and we'll be there to guide you through the process. Making the switch from Lightspeed OnSite to Lightspeed Retail is an exciting endeavor, but it doesn't have to be a completely fresh start.
